Stuck in Changuinola

Left Panama City at 6:00am to fly up to Isla Colon. The plane makes several stops, however, and at our first, Changuinola, a small town of banana plantations , we were grounded due to heavy rains ninBocas/Isla Colon. JUst hanging around the airport waiting for the "GO" signal. This poses a problem as we need to get to Isla, shop for hardware and food supplies and get it loaded onto the barge that takes us over to Isla Popa that leaves by noon. Things are not looking great for us being on that barge.

  2. I just typed in a very long comment - but it didn't publish it...or at least I don't think it did. Basically I wanted to say it is great reading about all of the prep work (mentally and physically) that lead to this place in your journey. Good luck out there - and keep posting.

  5. I enjoyed reading your thoughts at 30,00 feet and the journey that led you to your current project and coincidentally, Gail. At a time in our lives when we become jaded and denounce idealism, you have embraced and heeded the call to help. I am a proud sister!
