Humor

So, you have no idea the sense of cohesion and community we all have. And, yes, it is a serious endeavor we have undertaken. But we have literally been laughing our asses off since we started. There has simply been way too much to recount, but here are e few examples. Over dinner towrds the end, I told the group how grateful I was to have been asked on board as a mentor. To illustrate this, I tiold them the story of Lou Gehrig's famous "Luckiest man in the world" speech at Yankee Stadium. I then proceeded to imitate it, speaking through cupped hands and echoing the words like in the audio. Anna was in stitches. I then shared with them by "What Gehrig said/What Gehrig was thinking and they practically convulsed. On the flight back, Amber and I were howling about our new name for the project site - the back story is that someone in the airport asked us if we were coming from the beach. "Yeah," we started laughing, "the beach of mud". We then translated it into Spanish, which is playa del lodo, which is now the name our new resort, The Spa at Playa Del Lodo. We are currently accepting reservations for August 2015. Please address all inquiries to Senor Ramon Hines.
